Where it came from
The Elephant Costume Girl was released in 2018 as part of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 18, which was specifically curated to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the classic LEGO minifigure. This series deviated from the typical format by featuring a party-themed collection, complete with a celebratory baseplate and a mix of creative, costume-heavy characters intended to evoke a festive atmosphere.
The figure features a distinct molded elephant headpiece, a design choice that reflects LEGO's commitment to specialized, high-detail plastic components. The illustration on the torso features a bright blue color scheme with a subtle elephant-themed print, capturing a whimsical aesthetic that has become a hallmark of the collectible series. It was well-received by fans for its unique mold and vibrant color palette, quickly becoming a standout piece within the series.
