Where it came from
The LEGO Fox, released under set number 40218-1, is a promotional polybag model introduced in 2017 as part of a seasonal woodland-themed release. Designed to appeal to both younger builders and adult fans of LEGO, the set exemplifies the company’s focus on small-scale character builds, utilizing a modest piece count to create a recognizable, stylized representation of the animal.
The design of this fox favors a clean, geometric aesthetic consistent with standard system bricks, prioritizing playability and ease of assembly. Within the broader context of LEGO's promotional sets, this item was distributed through official retail channels and select store events, garnering appreciation from collectors for its charming character design and its utility in expanding nature-themed dioramas.
