Where it came from
The Hangzhou BrickHeadz set, numbered 6322719-1, was released as a promotional item primarily distributed within the Chinese market. It represents a specific regional initiative by the LEGO Group to celebrate local culture and landmarks through their stylized BrickHeadz format, which emphasizes minimalist, blocky character designs that diverge from traditional minifigure aesthetics.
The design of the set focuses on traditional architectural elements and cultural motifs associated with Hangzhou. While the specific designer remains uncredited in public documentation, the set follows the established design language of the broader BrickHeadz line, aiming to distill complex subjects into iconic, simplified forms. It was received by the collector community as a sought-after regional exclusive, highlighting the brand's efforts to localize its offerings for specific cultural audiences.
