Harry's Journey to Hogwarts

Released in 2018, this polybag set was designed to coincide with the relaunch of the LEGO Harry Potter theme, which returned to the market after a seven-year hiatus. The set serves as a miniature recreation of the iconic moment from the first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, where Harry pushes his trolley onto Platform 9¾. It was initially distributed as a promotional item at various retailers and LEGO brand stores to generate excitement for the revival of the Wizarding World product line.

The design of the set focuses on the emotional narrative of the character's first step into the magical world. It includes a minifigure of Harry Potter complete with his owl, Hedwig, and a trunk, set against a small brick-built archway representing the wall of the station. By prioritizing character-driven vignettes rather than complex architectural structures, the designers aimed to capture the charm and whimsy of the original story in a compact, accessible format that appealed to both children and adult collectors.
