Imperial Shuttle Tydirium

The LEGO Star Wars Imperial Shuttle Tydirium, released in 2015 as set 75094, was designed to represent the vessel famously used by Han Solo and his strike team to infiltrate the forest moon of Endor in Return of the Jedi. This release was part of a tradition of updating iconic Star Wars vehicles, aiming to improve upon the mechanics and aesthetic accuracy of previous iterations. It was developed to feature a highly functional folding-wing mechanism, allowing builders to transition the ship between flight and landing modes with ease, a hallmark of the source material's design.

The set was well-received by fans and collectors for its balance between playability and display value. Designers focused on refining the cockpit and internal space to accommodate the included minifigures, reflecting a broader shift in the LEGO Star Wars line toward more complex building techniques that maintain structural integrity. The model is considered a definitive version of the craft due to its cinematic proportions and the inclusion of key characters, serving as a functional centerpiece that captures the tension of the Rebel mission to destroy the second Death Star.
