Inferno Squad Battle Pack

The Inferno Squad Battle Pack, released in 2019 under the Lego Star Wars theme, was designed to coincide with the post-launch lifecycle of the video game Star Wars Battlefront II. The set centers on the elite Imperial special forces unit introduced in the game’s single-player campaign, featuring minifigures of Iden Versio and three of her squad members. This release followed a period of intense interest in the game's narrative expansion, providing collectors with specific characters that had not previously appeared in minifigure form.

The design of the set reflects the standard Lego battle pack format, which focuses on providing small, army-building vehicles and iconic characters at a lower price point. The inclusion of the TIE fighter-inspired speeder was a stylized interpretation created to offer playability within the constraints of a small set size. Upon its release, it was well-received by collectors for finally bringing the Inferno Squad members into the Lego ecosystem, marking a notable intersection between modern gaming canon and classic building set traditions.
