Laval Fun Pack

The Laval Fun Pack, released in 2015 as part of the Lego Dimensions expansion series, serves as a bridge between the physical construction toy and the digital toys-to-life video game platform. It was created by TT Games in collaboration with the Lego Group to allow players to import the character Laval, a lion warrior from the Legends of Chima theme, into the Dimensions multiverse. The set reflects the expansive nature of the game's licensing, aiming to integrate legacy product lines into a unified, interactive gaming experience.

The design of the included minifigure and vehicle, the Mighty Lion Rider, adheres to the established aesthetic of the Legends of Chima line, which debuted in 2013 with a heavy emphasis on animal-humanoid tribes. The minifigure captures Laval’s signature orange-and-blue armor, while the buildable vehicle translates the high-fantasy mechanical style of the Chima world into the modular format required for the game’s portal base. Upon release, the expansion was received by fans as a nostalgic nod to the recently concluded Chima series, though its utility was primarily limited to players engaging with the Lego Dimensions software.
