Lego Action Vehicles: Police Helicopter, Fire Truck, Ambulance, and More

This collection represents a series of paper-based assembly models published by Dover Publications, designed to capture the aesthetic of emergency service vehicles. Released as part of an educational and hobbyist outreach, these papercraft sets were created to provide an accessible, low-cost entry point into model building for younger enthusiasts or those interested in craft activities.

The illustrations for these sets focus on clear, functional designs that prioritize recognizability over complex mechanical articulation. Because these are paper models intended for assembly via cutting and folding, the design relies on bold lines and simplified geometry to ensure stability. They are received primarily as a charming nostalgic craft project, appreciated for their tactile quality and the straightforward assembly process that stands in contrast to plastic brick-building sets.
