Where it came from
Released in 2008 as part of the long-running LEGO City theme, this advent calendar was designed to provide a daily building experience throughout the month of December. The set was created to immerse children in the seasonal spirit of the City theme, offering a cohesive winter-themed display that integrated with existing LEGO town layouts rather than standing as an isolated novelty.
The design of the 7324-1 calendar reflects the transition period of LEGO packaging, featuring a festive fold-out play mat integrated into the box design. It includes a variety of winter-themed minifigures and small builds, such as a dog sled, snowmen, and holiday decorations, which were intended to evoke a classic, idealized Christmas scene that aligned with the brand's commitment to modular, imaginative play.
