LEGO Island 2

LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge was released in 2001 as the direct sequel to the 1997 title LEGO Island. Developed by Silicon Dreams and published by LEGO Software, the game was designed to expand the scope of the original by introducing a sprawling open-world environment across multiple islands. It sought to capitalize on the success of its predecessor by incorporating a blend of platforming, driving, and collection-based gameplay, aiming to provide a more narrative-driven experience for players navigating the island's colorful, block-based landscape.

The game is often remembered for its ambition during the early era of LEGO video games. While it was aimed primarily at a younger demographic, the design team focused on maintaining the distinct aesthetic of the LEGO System of Play, translating physical bricks into digital environments. Reception at the time was mixed, with critics noting the technical limitations of the era's hardware, yet it remains a notable piece of nostalgia for those who grew up during the transition of LEGO properties into interactive media.
