LEGO Minifigures - The Simpsons Series - Complete

Released in 2014, The Simpsons Series of LEGO Minifigures marked a significant milestone as one of the first collaborations between the LEGO Group and a long-running television property outside of their traditional licensed themes. The series was designed to coincide with the show's 25th anniversary, capturing the distinct aesthetic of Matt Groening’s characters in high-quality molded plastic. These figures were sold in sealed, mystery blind bags, encouraging the collection of the full set of sixteen characters, ranging from the core family members to secondary residents of Springfield.

The design process focused on adapting the show's iconic two-dimensional style into three-dimensional forms, often necessitating unique head molds for characters like Homer, Lisa, and Ned Flanders to ensure their characteristic features were faithfully represented. The series received significant attention from both LEGO enthusiasts and fans of the animated show, praised for its meticulous attention to detail and thematic accessories. The success of this inaugural line eventually led to the production of a second series in 2016, further solidifying the cultural crossover between the Danish toy manufacturer and the historic television sitcom.
