Where it came from
The LEGO Travel Postcard and Sticker Set, cataloged as 5007520-1, was released as a promotional item during the early 2020s. It was designed to cater to the growing demographic of adult LEGO enthusiasts who value collectibles that lean into stationary, travel, and lifestyle aesthetics rather than traditional buildable models. This set reflects the company's broader effort to expand its brand identity into everyday items that bridge the gap between creative play and functional adult keepsakes.
The design of the set focuses on minimalist, vibrant illustrations that capture the whimsical, modular spirit of LEGO bricks. It features artistic depictions of global travel themes, intended to serve as both a nostalgic nod for fans of the brand and a practical set of postcards. While it lacks the complex technical specifications of the company's iconic construction sets, it was well-received by collectors who appreciate curated, limited-release ephemera that complements the main building sets on display shelves.
