Where it came from
Released in 2016 by The LEGO Group, this magnet set features three iconic minifigures from the Star Wars universe: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and a Rebel Trooper. The magnets are permanently affixed to 4x4 brick bases, a design choice implemented by the company during this era to differentiate these products from standard play-ready minifigures while maintaining compatibility with the broader LEGO building system.
The set was produced as part of a recurring line of character-based merchandise aimed at adult fans and collectors who prioritize display aesthetics over active play. The design aesthetic focuses on the classic appearance of the original trilogy characters, reflecting a minimalist approach that emphasizes the recognizable silhouettes of these figures within the expansive LEGO Star Wars product ecosystem.
