Mia's Beach Scooter

Released in 2017 as part of the Lego Friends theme, Mia's Beach Scooter (set 41306) was designed to capture the lifestyle aesthetic of the Heartlake City characters. The set focuses on Mia, one of the five core protagonists of the series, reflecting her established interest in outdoor activities and animals. By including a small beach-themed environment, the design team aimed to provide an accessible, bite-sized play experience that expanded the narrative world of the Friends line without the complexity of larger building sets.

The aesthetic of the set aligns with the signature pastel color palette and modular play style that defined the Friends theme during this period. It was developed to encourage roleplay, incorporating specific accessories such as a helmet, a shell, and a small crab figure to help children populate the scene. Upon its release, it was received as a standard 'polybag-style' accessory set, valued by collectors and parents for its affordability and the inclusion of a specific Mia minidoll variant, which showcased the character's updated appearance and outfit for that cycle of sets.
