Nya

Nya is a central character in the LEGO Ninjago theme, representing the Master of Water. This specific iteration, identified by set number 891620-1, was released as a promotional foil-pack minifigure, a common practice within the Ninjago line to accompany tie-in media or expand character accessibility for younger collectors. The character was created to evolve the narrative of the original ninja team, shifting from the initial 'Samurai X' persona to the formal role of the Water Ninja as the series lore deepened over its multi-year run.

The design of Nya minifigures typically emphasizes the evolution of her suit styles, which align with the aesthetic shifts of the Ninjago television series. Designers at the LEGO Group focus on balancing functional play features, such as elemental weapons and distinctive headgear, with the character's signature color palette of dark blue and silver. These sets are generally well-received by the enthusiast community as essential components for completing character rosters, serving as an accessible entry point to the expansive Ninjago universe.
