Pop Star Tour Bus

The Pop Star Tour Bus was released in 2015 as part of the LEGO Friends line, a theme introduced by the company to broaden its appeal to girls by incorporating narrative-driven roleplay sets. The set centers on the character Livi, an international pop star, reflecting the theme's focus on friendship, career aspirations, and creative expression. The design focuses on a modular vehicle that opens up to reveal a living area, a sleeping compartment, and a stage, designed to provide a comprehensive playset experience for younger builders.

The set was conceptualized and developed by the LEGO design team in Billund to expand the Livi sub-theme, which was a highlight of the 2015 Friends collection. It was praised at the time for its detailed interior and functional elements, such as the removable roof and deck stage, which were consistent with the brand's shift toward more sophisticated play-features in licensed-style themes. Like many sets in this line, it was designed with a bright color palette intended to be both visually distinct and appealing to its target demographic.
