Promotional Set No. 2 (Kraft Velveeta)

Promotional Set No. 2, part of the 2-4 series associated with Kraft Velveeta, was produced during the mid-20th century as part of an aggressive marketing strategy to integrate the brand into American home cooking. These items were typically distributed as premiums, encouraging brand loyalty by offering consumers tangible goods in exchange for proofs of purchase or as mail-in offers contained within product packaging.

The design of these promotional sets often adhered to the mid-century aesthetic of simplicity and utility, prioritizing mass-appeal graphics that resonated with the burgeoning domestic consumer market. While the specific illustrators remain uncredited in mainstream design archives, the series represents a broader era of corporate advertising where food manufacturers utilized collectibles to establish long-term presence in the American kitchen.
