Where it came from
Released in 2017 as part of the LEGO Seasonal series, this polybag set was designed as a promotional item for the year's holiday offerings. It served as a small, accessible build centered on the iconic North American raccoon, captured here in a stylized, blocky form that emphasizes the creature's characteristic masked face and ringed tail.
The model reflects LEGO's long-standing tradition of creating compact, character-based builds that function as standalone ornaments or additions to larger, modular landscape scenes. While not tied to a specific film or intellectual property, the design demonstrates the company's ability to render complex organic shapes using a limited palette of standard elements, prioritizing playability and ease of assembly for fans of all ages.
