Where it came from
The Salvage M.E.C. (70592-1) was released in 2016 as part of the Lego Ninjago 'Skybound' story arc. It represents a specialized, rugged vehicle designed by the character Ronin to navigate the challenging landscape of Ninjago, reflecting the series' blend of traditional ninja motifs with imaginative, high-tech mechanical engineering.
The design emphasizes a utilitarian, scrap-metal aesthetic, featuring a distinct cockpit, poseable limbs, and integrated weapon systems typical of mid-2010s Lego sets. As a mid-sized set, it was well-received by fans for its mechanical play features and the inclusion of exclusive minifigures, contributing to its status as a notable entry in the long-running Ninjago theme.
