Where it came from
The Shark Army General #1 minifigure was released in 2017 as part of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures series dedicated to The LEGO Ninjago Movie. This series was designed to coincide with the film's theatrical debut, offering fans a chance to collect the diverse cast of characters, soldiers, and citizens featured in the production. The design captures the unique aesthetic of the Shark Army, blending nautical motifs with the signature stylized look of the Ninjago universe.
The minifigure was created by the LEGO design team to replicate the antagonist forces commanded by Lord Garmadon. It features distinct elements such as a shark-themed helmet, detailed torso printing, and unique accessories intended to emphasize the aquatic military theme of the film's villains. Upon release, the set was well-received by collectors for its high level of detail and the inclusion of exclusive printed parts, solidifying its place as a representative piece of the wider Ninjago cinematic tie-in collection.
