Sky Police Drone Chase

The Sky Police Drone Chase, set number 60207-1, was released by The LEGO Group in 2019 as part of the long-running City theme. This set was designed to expand the narrative of the 'Sky Police' sub-theme, which introduced aerial law enforcement elements to the standard urban police setting. It reflects a shift in City design toward more dynamic, play-focused builds that incorporate modern technological motifs like drones and high-speed pursuits, intended to appeal to younger builders interested in contemporary rescue and action themes.

The design of this set features a police helicopter with a rotating rotor and a drone controller, alongside a villainous drone to facilitate an interactive 'chase' scenario. As with much of the LEGO City line, the aesthetic focuses on bright, primary colors and modular construction that emphasizes durability and ease of assembly. Upon its release, it was received as a standard entry in the City police range, noted for providing an accessible entry point into the aerial police concept without the complexity or scale of the larger station sets.
