Where it came from
Released in 2024 as part of the LEGO Ninjago Dragons Rising series, this spinner set was designed to capture the dynamic, elemental combat style introduced in the show's second chapter. It was created to provide a tactile play experience that mirrors the acrobatic Spinjitzu techniques used by the new generation of ninjas, focusing on a balance between portability and kinetic performance.
The set features the character Sora, a tech-savvy inventor, paired with a specialized spinning mechanism that allows for interactive tabletop play. The design utilizes a combination of traditional plastic elements and a specialized launcher, reflecting a move toward more streamlined, action-oriented construction sets that cater to the younger demographic of the Ninjago fan base.
