Where it came from
Sora was introduced as a central character in the 2023 Ninjago Dragons Rising series, marking a soft reboot for the long-running Lego theme. The character design reflects the series' shift toward a more modern, tech-focused aesthetic, highlighting her skills as a talented inventor from the merged realm of Imperium. This specific iteration of the figure was released to capture the character's signature look during the show's inaugural season, emphasizing her unique color palette and technological motif.
The minifigure design was crafted by the Lego Ninjago design team to differentiate Sora from the established elemental masters through distinct printing, such as her specialized technical harness and vibrant blue hair piece. As part of the Dragons Rising wave, the figure aimed to integrate new narrative elements into the physical set line, focusing on the character's role as a bridge between the old world of Ninjago and the new, chaotic landscape created by the Merge. The set 892312-1 was received as a standard but essential entry for fans looking to complete their collection of the new main cast.
