Where it came from
Released by The LEGO Group in 2024, set 43249-1 features a buildable display model of Stitch, the iconic extraterrestrial protagonist from the 2002 Disney animated film Lilo & Stitch. The set was designed to capture the character's mischievous charm through articulated ears and a rotating head, catering to the growing market for adult-focused, display-oriented LEGO sets that celebrate pop culture milestones.
The design prioritizes aesthetic accuracy, utilizing a vibrant color palette to replicate the character's distinct blue fur and floral aesthetic. Upon its introduction, the set was well-received by fans of the franchise for its poseable features and display-ready stand, which includes a decorative nameplate, positioning it as both a playful building experience and a collectible decorative object.
