T-Rawket Sky Strike

The T-Rawket Sky Strike, identified by set number 79120-1, was released by the LEGO Group in 2014 as part of the short-lived Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles product line. Designed to capture the aesthetic of the Nickelodeon animated series airing at the time, the set features a specialized aerial vehicle for the Raphael figure and includes antagonist figures such as a Foot Ninja and a Kraang. It fits within the broader context of LEGO's licensing partnerships during the early 2010s, which sought to blend classic action-oriented play with the distinct character designs of modern cartoon reboots.

The design of the set focuses on high-action play features, including flick-fire missiles and a movable cockpit, emphasizing the 'Sky Strike' theme suggested by its name. Like other sets in this sub-theme, the construction utilizes a mix of specialized molded components and standard bricks to achieve the aggressive, tech-heavy look associated with the franchise's vehicles. While the set received modest attention from fans of the series, it serves as a representative example of the mid-sized playsets produced during the multi-year tenure of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme.
