The Tahnok-Va was illustrated and conceptualized by the LEGO design team to evoke the fire-based aesthetic of the Tahnok swarm, featuring a distinct red and black color scheme. While the Bohrok-Va sets were produced in high volume as accessible impulse buys, they remain significant to collectors for their specific role in expanding the lore of the Mata Nui island.
