The 2014 LEGO Minifigure Catalog: 2nd Edition

The 2014 LEGO Minifigure Catalog: 2nd Edition was compiled by Christoph Gaude as a comprehensive visual resource for collectors navigating the expansive history of LEGO minifigures. Published in the mid-2010s during a period of surging interest in secondary market minifigure collecting, the volume serves as a structured reference guide, cataloging hundreds of distinct figures produced by the company. It was designed to provide identification markers and contextual data for enthusiasts seeking to organize or value their personal collections.

The catalog reflects the evolving aesthetics of LEGO design, documenting the transition from classic themes to the highly detailed, licensed characters that defined the brand's output in the early 21st century. By focusing specifically on the minifigure as the primary unit of interest, the work highlights the specialized printing techniques and accessory configurations that transformed these small figures into prized items among global collectors. The book was received as a practical archival tool, noted for its utility in an era where digital databases were still fragmented and incomplete.
