Where it came from
Released in 2017, this LEGO set was designed as part of the tie-in line for The LEGO Batman Movie. It captures the stylized, eccentric version of the vehicle featured in the film, which was characterized by a chaotic, over-the-top aesthetic intended to reflect Batman's flamboyant personality within the movie's humorous narrative.
The set was designed by LEGO team members to integrate complex functionality, specifically the gear-driven wheel system that allows for multiple driving modes. Upon its release, it was well-received by fans of the theme for its robust build and the inclusion of unique minifigures, serving as a standout piece of promotional material for the animated feature.
