TLM2 Accessory Set 2019

The LEGO Movie 2 Accessory Set, identified as set 853865-1, was released in 2019 to coincide with the theatrical debut of The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. Produced by The LEGO Group, these blister-pack accessory sets are designed as supplementary kits that provide builders with additional minifigures and small thematic props, rather than complex structural builds. The set specifically serves to expand the cinematic experience, allowing fans to integrate the distinct aesthetic of the sequel into their existing displays.

The design of the set focuses on the vibrant, often chaotic visual language of the film's Apocalypseburg and Systar System settings. While the individual elements within these accessory sets are standard production parts, the curated selection of accessories and minifigures is intended to capture the specific character designs established by the film's production designers. As a low-barrier-to-entry product, it was received primarily as a convenient way for collectors to obtain specific characters and weaponry without purchasing larger, more expensive playsets.
