Troll Warriors Battle Pack

The Troll Warriors Battle Pack, designated 852701-1, was released in 2009 as part of a series of blister-packed LEGO minifigure accessories. This set emerged during a period when the company frequently produced small battle packs to supplement their broader fantasy and castle-themed product lines, providing fans with multiple themed figures and gear in a single package. It was designed to cater to collectors and builders looking to expand their armies with specialized character archetypes without purchasing larger, more expensive playsets.

The design of the figures reflects the aesthetic of the LEGO Fantasy Era, featuring intricate molded helmets and weaponry consistent with the troll faction common to that period's lore. The set was conceptualized by the internal design team to offer a cohesive group of adversaries for the kingdom-themed sets available at the time. Upon its release, it was generally well-received by the building community for its utility in troop building and the inclusion of detailed, faction-specific accessories that were difficult to acquire through other means.
