Where it came from
The Wicket Key Chain, designated as part of set 853469-1, was released by the LEGO Group to celebrate the enduring popularity of the Ewok character from the Star Wars franchise. Designed as a functional accessory for fans, it features a minifigure of Wicket W. Warrick, the brave scout who played a pivotal role in the victory of the Rebel Alliance during the Battle of Endor. The design captures the character's signature hooded appearance and detailed fur patterns, scaled specifically for use on keys or backpacks.
As part of the broader Star Wars licensed merchandise line, this key chain reflects the design language of LEGO's minifigure aesthetic, which has remained consistent since the early 2000s. It was created to provide collectors and fans with an accessible way to carry a piece of the Star Wars galaxy in their daily lives. The item was widely distributed through official LEGO stores and retail partners, receiving a positive reception from collectors who appreciate the durability of the attached metal ring and the iconic representation of the beloved Endor native.
