Where it came from
Aunt Cass, appearing as card number 138 in the Azurite Sea set of the Disney Lorcana trading card game, represents the character from the 2014 Walt Disney Animation Studios film Big Hero 6. Designed as a common character card, it functions within the mechanics of the game to provide thematic depth to the roster of playable Disney characters, bringing the warmth of Hiro's aunt into the strategic framework established by Ravensburger for the trading card community.
The artistic direction for the Azurite Sea set focuses on expanding the narrative scope of the Lorcana universe, and the illustration of Aunt Cass maintains the aesthetic consistency of the game's broader art style. As a common rarity card, it was distributed widely within set booster packs and starter decks, serving as an accessible entry point for players seeking to build decks around character-focused synergies rather than relying exclusively on rare or legendary counterparts.
