Where it came from
Earth Giant was released as part of the Shimmering Skies set for the Disney Lorcana trading card game, which debuted in 2024. As a common character card, it is designed to provide accessible gameplay utility for players building decks around the Amber ink color, reflecting the game's focus on balancing strategic depth with iconic Disney character imagery.
The card features an illustration of a rock giant inspired by the elemental creatures found in Disney’s Frozen 2. The design team aimed to integrate these massive, formidable figures into the game's mechanics, emphasizing the sturdy, grounded nature of Earth-themed characters within the fantasy setting of the Great Illuminary.
