Where it came from
The Higitus Figitus card, designated number 62 in the Hyperia City set, emerged during the mid-period expansion of this tabletop trading card game. It was designed to introduce a specific mechanic for disrupting opponent board states, drawing thematic inspiration from the whimsical and chaotic energy of urban magical realism often found in the Hyperia City world-building project.
The visual identity for this card was crafted to contrast sharply with the industrial, monochromatic background art prevalent in the Hyperia City series. Illustrators aimed for a vibrant, swirling aesthetic intended to represent the unpredictable nature of the 'action' card type. Upon its release, the card was widely categorized as a functional utility piece, finding a stable place in the meta-game due to its reliable low-cost activation.
