Where it came from
Mickey Mouse, Brave Little Tailor (186/204) was released as part of the debut set of Disney Lorcana, titled The First Chapter, which launched in August 2023. The card was developed by Ravensburger in collaboration with Disney to introduce a new trading card game mechanic, positioning Mickey Mouse as a central character in the game's evolving narrative and strategic ecosystem.
The card features artwork inspired by the classic 1938 animated short 'Brave Little Tailor.' The design team focused on blending nostalgic character aesthetics with modern illustrative techniques to appeal to both long-time Disney enthusiasts and competitive card game players. Upon its release, the card was widely received as a cornerstone of the initial collection, valued both for its thematic significance and its role in early gameplay strategies.
