Rebecca Cunningham

Rebecca Cunningham, card number 80 in the Hyperia City set, was introduced as part of the initial wave of the series. The set was conceived to populate the burgeoning Hyperia City universe, a collaborative creative project focused on urban fantasy archetypes. The character was designed to represent the administrative backbone of the city, utilizing a clean, corporate aesthetic that reflected the orderly nature of the game’s central hub.

The illustration was handled by the core Hyperia City art team, who aimed to emphasize functionality over flair to contrast with the more eccentric character types in the deck. As a common rarity card, it was widely distributed to ensure players could easily access low-cost utility characters. It was well-received by the player base for its reliable game stats, even as its understated design led it to be treated primarily as a functional staple rather than a centerpiece for collectors.
