Sleepy

Sleepy, a character card from the Disney Lorcana set Rise of the Floodborn, was released in late 2023 as part of the game's second expansion. The set focused on the concept of 'floodborn' glimmers, which are reimagined versions of classic Disney characters shaped by the magical ink of the realm. As a common rarity card, Sleepy serves as a foundational element of the set's mechanical structure, designed to provide accessible gameplay options for collectors and players building their decks around the Seven Dwarfs synergy.

The card features artwork that maintains the iconic aesthetic established by the 1937 film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, while adapting the character to fit the trading card game's illustrative style. The design emphasizes the character's signature lethargic personality through his pose and expression, ensuring he is instantly recognizable to fans of the source material. Within the game's meta-environment, the card was received as a functional, low-cost character that helps players manage their board presence during the early stages of a match.
