Where it came from
Stitch, Alien Experiment is a central character in the Disney Lorcana trading card game, originating from the Azurite Sea set released in late 2024. The card was designed to reflect the aquatic theme of the set, which focuses on ocean-faring expeditions and exploration. Its inclusion in the set serves as a narrative bridge to the popular Lilo & Stitch franchise, appealing to fans of the character while fitting into the broader competitive mechanics of the game.
The artwork for this specific special rarity card was produced by the Disney Lorcana creative team, emphasizing vibrant colors and a dynamic pose characteristic of the character's mischievous nature. As a special rarity, the card features unique holographic treatments and distinct artistic flourishes designed to distinguish it from standard versions. It has been well-received by collectors for its high-quality foil finish and the enduring popularity of the subject matter.
