Where it came from
Released as part of the Hyperia City set, this card serves as a narrative anchor within the game’s lore. It was designed to represent the conclusion of a story arc involving the city’s resistance movement, reflecting a shift in the tone of the expansion toward more somber, character-driven themes.
The artwork was commissioned to emphasize the emotional weight of the game's evolving world. While the creative team aimed for a minimalist aesthetic to highlight the card’s strategic utility as an action card, the design was noted by the community for its departure from the high-energy, combat-focused visuals typical of earlier sets in the series.
