Tiana

Tiana, card number 220 from the Hyperia City set, represents the genre-blending aesthetic that characterized the series' debut in the mid-2010s. The set was designed to evoke a stylized, futuristic urban landscape, drawing heavily from cyberpunk and high-fashion illustration tropes common in collectible card games of that era. Developers intended for characters like Tiana to serve as anchor points for the game's evolving narrative, blending sleek mechanical elements with intricate, hand-drawn character portraits that prioritized color saturation and clean lines.

The reception of the Hyperia City series was largely driven by its distinct visual identity, which stood out in a saturated market through its consistent art direction. Artists associated with the set focused on creating a cohesive world-building experience where the character design echoed the environment of the game's titular city. Tiana specifically became noted for the balance between her character utility and the technical skill displayed in the digital rendering, leading to a modest but dedicated following among players who appreciated the aesthetic evolution of the card game’s art department.
