Provenance

Where it came from

The Almost Perfect card is a component of the Magic: The Gathering Fallout set, released in 2024 as part of the Universes Beyond series. This set was designed to translate the aesthetic and thematic elements of the long-running post-apocalyptic video game franchise into the mechanics of the tabletop card game, focusing on the series' iconic retro-futuristic style and harsh survivalist tone.

The card features artwork commissioned to capture the Fallout aesthetic, emphasizing the visual language of the wasteland and the game's Vault-Tec branding. As a rare item within this collaborative set, it is intended to appeal both to long-time Magic players and to enthusiasts of the video game franchise, reflecting the developers' intent to create an immersive, recognizable experience for players of both communities.
