What it does
At the beginning of combat on your turn, you may discard a card. If you do, choose a creature. Whenever that creature deals combat damage to a player this turn, you draw two cards.

Where it came from
Azra Oddsmaker was released in 2018 as part of Battlebond, a Magic: The Gathering set uniquely designed for Two-Headed Giant team play. Set on the plane of Kylem, a world defined by its obsession with spectacular combat and arena sports, the card depicts a character instrumental to the gambling culture surrounding the set's central gladiatorial matches. The mechanics of the card—allowing players to discard a card to draw two—reflect the high-stakes, risk-reward nature of the arena environment.
The illustration was created by artist Igor Kieryluk, who utilized a vibrant, high-contrast style to emphasize the character's role as a shadowy broker amidst the neon-lit, festive atmosphere of the arena. The design was received well by players for its efficiency in aggressive deck archetypes, cementing its place as a staple utility card within the Commander format and other multiplayer settings where resource cycling is highly valued.
