Boilerbilges Ripper // Boilerbilges Ripper

Boilerbilges Ripper is a card from the Art Series released as part of the Duskmourn: House of Horror set in 2024. These cards are distributed within collector boosters as a special showcase, designed to highlight the aesthetic identity of the set, which draws heavily from 1980s horror tropes and atmospheric, supernatural dread. The art series cards are distinct from traditional game pieces, serving as high-quality prints that display the illustration in full, without the standard frame elements that obscure the artwork on playable cards.

The visual design for this piece was crafted to evoke the visceral, claustrophobic environment of the House. By stripping away the gameplay text, the design team aimed to provide fans and collectors with a clearer view of the artist's technique and the specific texture of the Duskmourn plane. Reception among the collecting community has been largely positive, as these cards provide a dedicated way to appreciate the diverse stylistic contributions of the illustrators commissioned for the horror-themed expansion.
