Carnage Tyrant // Carnage Tyrant

Carnage Tyrant was originally introduced in the 2017 Magic: The Gathering expansion Ixalan. Designed as a powerful green creature with hexproof and trample, it quickly became a staple in competitive formats due to its resilience against interactive removal spells. The card embodies the fierce, predatory nature of the dinosaur-themed plane, reflecting the game's ongoing exploration of prehistoric motifs.

This specific version originates from The Lost Caverns of Ixalan Art Series, a collection of cards released in 2023 that highlights the intricate illustrations commissioned for the game. These cards are non-gameplay pieces featuring high-quality, full-bleed artwork on the front and a gold-stamped artist signature on the reverse. By prioritizing the visual craft over the functional rules text, the series allows players and collectors to better appreciate the detailed creature designs that define the aesthetic of the Ixalan setting.
