Command Performance

Command Performance was released in 2022 as part of Unfinity, the fourth Un-set produced by Wizards of the Coast. Designed to explore the intersection of mechanical complexity and lighthearted, irreverent humor, this card features the 'sticker' mechanic that defines much of the set's unique gameplay. The card serves as a thematic nod to the set’s carnival and space-circus aesthetic, inviting players to interact with external components in a way that had not been previously explored in standard tournament play.

The card was illustrated by artist Wisnu Tan, who captured the whimsical, high-energy atmosphere of the Unfinity set. The design process for Unfinity focused on creating a self-contained, draftable experience that balanced these experimental mechanics with a cohesive visual language. Upon release, Command Performance was generally well-received by collectors and casual players who appreciated its novelty, though it remains a niche item due to its non-legal status in most sanctioned tournament formats.
