Dakmor Salvage

Dakmor Salvage was released in 2007 as part of the Future Sight expansion for Magic: The Gathering. The set was designed to explore potential futures of the game’s mechanics and aesthetics, often featuring 'timeshifted' frames that looked ahead to styles not yet standard in the game. This land card introduced the dredge mechanic to a non-creature card, allowing players to pull it from their graveyard to their hand in exchange for milling cards from their library, a feature that significantly influenced graveyard-centric strategies in various competitive formats.

The card’s artwork was illustrated by Franz Vohwinkel, a long-time contributor to the game known for his atmospheric landscapes and fantasy illustrations.
