What it does
Each player shuffles their hand and graveyard into their library, then draws seven cards. If it's your turn, end the turn. (Exile all spells and abilities from the stack, including this card. Discard down to your maximum hand size. Damage wears off, and "this turn" and "until end of turn" effects end.)
Revel in the anticipation of renewed opportunities.

Where it came from
Day's Undoing was originally released in the 2015 Magic: The Gathering set Magic Origins. The card was designed as a callback to the high-power artifacts of the game's early history, specifically the legendary Time Twister, balancing its potent ability to reset players' hands with the restriction that it could only be cast during the controller's turn.
This specific iteration, collector number 2153, originates from a 2022 Secret Lair drop titled Showcase: Streets of New Capenna. The artistic direction for this release featured a distinct, stylized Art Deco aesthetic intended to mirror the decadent, crime-syndicate atmosphere of the New Capenna setting. Illustrators for this series leaned into geometric framing and gilded flourishes to emphasize the luxury associated with the plane's lore.
