Dragon's Rage Channeler // Dragon's Rage Channeler

Dragon's Rage Channeler was introduced in the 2021 Magic: The Gathering set Modern Horizons 2, a release specifically designed to inject powerful, high-synergy cards into the Modern format. The card quickly became a staple in competitive play due to its efficient 'delirium' mechanic, which rewards players for stocking their graveyard with diverse card types, allowing the Channeler to act as both a card-selection engine and an aggressive threat.

The Art Series version is a specialized print released alongside the main set, featuring an enlarged, borderless version of the original illustration by artist Magali Villeneuve. Villeneuve, a celebrated contributor to the game, aimed to capture the character's chaotic, pyromaniacal essence through dynamic lighting and a focused composition. These cards were distributed exclusively within Art Series booster packs, intended primarily as collectible display pieces for fans of the game's evolving visual aesthetic.
