Echo Mage

Echo Mage was released in 2010 as part of the Rise of the Eldrazi set for the Magic: The Gathering trading card game. The set marked the conclusion of the Zendikar block and introduced the formidable Eldrazi creatures, shifting the game's mechanics toward high-mana costs and large-scale combat. Within this context, Echo Mage represented the set's focus on spell-casting synergies, functioning as an 'Izzet-colored' utility creature that allowed players to copy instant and sorcery spells by leveling it up.
