The Friday Night Magic promotional version was issued later that same year, featuring updated artwork by the fantasy illustrator Nils Hamm. The design of the Friday Night Magic edition focuses on the distinct aesthetic of the Phyrexian influence within the Magic: The Gathering multiverse.
